When I was about to complete my birding for the day, I met Poly, another bird photographer with immense knowledge about birds of Kadamakkudy Islands, the environmental threats they are facing with too much intrusion into their nesting grounds especially mangrove islands. According to him there are people who even open up cycling tracks through the mangroves. We also discussed about the nearby birding spots in and around Kadamakkudy islands. Poly is an active contributor to e-bird, the birding site by Cornell University. Hope to walk with him with my camera sometime.
