Kadamakkudy Islands is a highly ecologically sensitive area and is blessed with its wet lands, mangroves and migratory birds. A couple of weeks back when I visited Kadamakudy islands i saw this disturbing view of a huge mangrove tree cut down. The pictures will talk.
Remember, mangroves are endangered species. Destroying them is a punishable act.
